Lanie’s Hope will be presenting an introductory program on gambling addiction; offering simple screening tools and resources for recognizing a gambling addiction and it’s impact on physical and mental health. This “Lunch and Learn” program sponsored by Strategic Behavioral Health, LLC is offered to Clark County community service professionals ranging from Military, Police Officers, Social Workers, LADC, RN Nurses and health care professionals. CEU’s are offered for a variety of professional accreditations.

Bea Goodwin Aikens will be serving as the Keynote Speaker. Bea will share her personal journey in her own recovery as well as the loss of her beloved sister Lanie as a result of a gambling-related overdose. Bea’s unique perspective on the disease of compulsive gambling launched the national advocacy group Lanie’s Hope, a catalyst for social change in problem gambling.
