Applied Suicide Intervention Skill Training, Las Vegas, June 5 & 6

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is an intensive two-day training, providing participants with practical skills necessary to provide appropriate intervention when someone is considering suicide.

Problem Gambling is a serious community health issue and it is estimated that as many as one in five problem gamblers may attempt suicide.  In partnership with the Nevada Coalition for Suicide Prevention, the Nevada Council on Problem Gambling is offering this course at a nominal fee of $40.

Professionals earn up to 13.5 CEU’s. This course is appropriate for anyone involved in serving problem gamblers in need.
